Shortcut of entries does not work

Hi,

The "Copy shortcut" function does not work, neither in the web verson nor the windows version. Could this be fixed?

Being able to simply sending a link to old e-mails to others would have been really nice...

RE: Shortcut of entries does not work

I have some doubts about this.
Can you give us more context?
In Win, hold down Ctrl+shift key when doing a Copy shortcut should show you the soprotocol in a dialog:

Hover over the task button should show a tooltip:

What are you seeing?
(I have never seen seen this fail - yert)

Here is from the web version:

Then I copy the link:

When I open the link in the browser I am only directed to the project folder, and the entry is not marked or opened.

RE: Shortcut of entries does not work

Hi,

I have the same issue in our online demo environment, the full shortcut looks like this:

https://online.superoffice.com/cust6629/default.aspx?contact.main.minimonth.activityarchive?contact_id=2&diaryowner_id=44&tzlocation_id=269&appointment_id=3497&sale_id=112&document_id=735

However it only directs me to the correct contact and does not mark the entry in the appointment list that the URL was copied from.

When testing this in our web client 8.4.6883.1105 it works as expected and marks the correct entry as well.

Testing from our windows client gives the same behavior as the online environment, it directs me to the contact but the entry in the appointment list remains unmarked. However if I stay on the same contact in SuperOffice then run the shortcut it marks the entry, it only fails to mark the entry if you have browsed a different company card, a sale connected to a different company and so on before pasting in the protocol.

This might be relevant: https://community.superoffice.com/no/product-releases/bugs-wishes/product-issue/?bid=49094

RE: Shortcut of entries does not work

Ok, so it looks like the Copying is not the issue but the Paste is..
I am afraid that Win has never kept up with the soprotcol use that evolved in Web.
Win cannot handle more than 1 main panel identity change at a time.
So, a long protocol copied from Web that contains all potential identites (for all panels) will rarely work as expected on Win.
But any protocol copied from Win should work well in Win.

Register an issue if you feel strongly about it.
Sorry!
