SO Travelgateway as a service

Hi

I know we can install the service with this command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\SuperOffice\SuperOffice 7 Windows\SoTraGateService.exe" INSTALL "DOMAIN\Username" "PASSWORD" "CRM7User" "CRM7Password"

But this CRM7user does it need login and license after it's installed or just during the install of the service?

And what if the user later changes his passsword? Can it be changed somewhere in some config file / SQL table?

Or could we use en Other user (system user) for this purpose?

RE: SO Travelgateway as a service

Hi Ingar,

the crm7 user is the SystemUser of SuperOffice. Which you set during the install of SuperOffice Server

A System User don't need a license.

Well normaly you don't change the crm7 User password.

But in case you do from my experince you don't need to change anything.

Greetings

RE: SO Travelgateway as a service

Hi Alex

Yes i know CRM7 is the system user. But I thought that I had to use an ordinary SuperOffice user during the service install, and not the crm7 user itself.

(I can see that it was a bit unclear as I named it CRM7user, i actually ment a SOuser)

RE: SO Travelgateway as a service

HI Ingar,

i always use the CRM7 user (Systemuser).

Never tried it with another user.

I would use the Systemuser as it is written everywhere.

Please let us know if you should try it with another user :)

Greetings

Alex
