udef field not responding

Hi

Customer has a udef field of type date, on the sales card

Using win client 8.0.

Sometimes some users is not able to use this field. Not possible to type a date, and the calender doesnt pop up. Using the TAB between udef field, just skips this field.

The field does not respond.

On other sales this filed is working. and maybe the next day its working on the sale it didnt work on

Hi,
sounds like a SetAccessRight issue - I have seen a few of them over the years.
I can't reproduce this in my latest 8.1 but that is no garantee of anything.

You will have to report this.

the version is 8.0.5893.1015

Is it a bug in the version or is there a fix for it?

Hi Gabriel,

i saw this "problem" myself in 8SR3 Win Client + Windows 7.

As soon as you restart the Win Client the field will start working again.

 

I assume Web it always works?

During testing we found out that it Works with 8SR3 Win Client + Windows 10 or Upgrading to SR4.

Sorry, took a while to get to search tfs...

51634: date control can hang in a disabled state. 8th. June 2017.

shifit+F5 will activate the field again. it will do unntil the customer upgrades their superoffice to 8.1
