How to create a "Menu" selection

Hi there,

So I have begun reading a bit up on CRMScript and currently I have the following:

How / where can I create a new one called "Lookup" for example?
Where can I find information on creating a menu selection along with fields inside the menu?
(I do not want this menu "item" in the service module, but in "Superoffice")

Feel free to link me a ton of helpful links / guides whatever :)

Best regards

Hi,

If you want to add items in Navigator in Sales client, it is not possible with CRMscript but done thru adding GUI - webpanel in Admin.

Thanks a ton!:)
Managed to create a menu item, seems like I have to fill out URL?
What if I want it to simply be a "Blank" page where I can put some input fields and a search button, but not to redirect to some webpage?

Not sure I understand exactly what you want to accomplish.
Navigator buttons in Sales are explained in Help section.

Well I want to create a menu "item" and once clicked you get to a page showing 3 fields you can search in and press a search button, I dont want to link to some other website.

Hi,

I guess you also are asking how to create actual page that you want to link to ?

I guess so.

For example we have bought this addon from Keyforce.

They have a menu item "New Customer" which shows all these fields and buttons.

How can I start making fields / buttons as them? Is this literally just a webpage superoffice is linking to or what?

KeyForce addons are more like external webapplications utilizing SuperOffice APIs.

In Service it is possible to create both user defined screens and use CRMScript to create webforms depending on what you prefer.

Would recommend that you try to describe more of your use case and it might be easier to give you some working examples. Or search forum to find examples related to these topics.

RE: How to create a "Menu" selection

Hi Henrik,

Yes, in the Keyforce case, this is just a web panel (an iframe) to an external web site.

You can create a CRMScript that outputs a web page in SuperOffice Customer Service that has the look and feel you describe, and then use the URL of it in the Navigator buttons destination in the web panel configuration options

I don't have any examples readily available, but there are a few difference ways to accomplish this. The documentation for this capability needs some serious TLC.
