outbox text folder not cleaned up

Hello,

At multiple customers we have the issue that the text outbox folder is not cleaned up. There are files in their since the start of their use of SuperOffice. The inbox folder is cleaned up.

ejScheduler runs under local system, folder rights are:

Is there anyway to force the clean up of the outbox force? or to debug why this isn't happening?

Hi David,

Can you check the value in the registry table for reg_id=47? It should be the number of days to keep outbox entries. Do you have matching rows in the outbox table, or just files?

Hello Sverre,

reg_id 47 has value '14', the outbox table correctly only contains the emails from the last 14 days. Just the files are still their in the outbox folder.

Hi David,

Then I am quite certain that the file deletion has failed. I am guessing the user who is running the cron service does not have access to delete those files. Try making the folder accessible to everyone and see if it changes. 

The old files have to be removed manually. When the row in the outbox table is gone, Service does not know about the file any more.

Hello Sverre,

We have manually deleted all the old entries now, but we don't see any logging about the file deletion failing. The user which runs the ejScheduler service/proces has full rights on the folders, we will monitor if the files are deleted now after 14 days.
