New manual request - not sending a confirmation mail to contact

A customer wants to stop sending the ticket confirmation mail to the contact on the ticket when registring tickets manual ("New request"), so the same behaviour as with "New quick request". How can this be achieved? There are no settings regarding this so I assume some scripting has to be done.

RE: New manual request - not sending a confirmation mail to contact

Hi,

Not sure if I understand exactly, but default behavior when registering new request manually is not to send any autoreply to customer.

Do you have any triggers that perform this action perhaps?

Hi,

No triggers. For "New quick request", the default behaviour is to not send an email. But for "New request", the default behaviour is to send an email.

So the customer wants "New request" to behave like "New quick request".

The customer should not enter the end customers email in the To-field. The New request screen only sends email to whoever is listed as recipient on top.

To specify the customer, without sending an email to her, just choose the customer in the customer-chooser component further down on the first tab.
