Hi,
I am upgrading our demo server to SuperOffice 9 so that we can start testing our bespoke software with SuperOffice 9, however I get the following error when trying to upgrade it.
SuperOffice 9 Upgrade - The installation program could not detect a database
"The installation program could not detect a database, or you have entered an incorrect username, password or prefix. Please check your ODBC source and/or verify the user name, password and prefix.
I have checked that I can log in to SuperOffice 8.5 with the system user I am entering in the setup screen, and I have checked the ODBC logs in with the username and password that I have entered. Both password have been entered using Copy and Paste, plus manually typing in the passwords. Finally I have checked the crm7SuperOfficeDemo has DB Owner access to the database, and that the crm7 schema is correct.

I cannot work out what is wrong with the setup and why I cannot continue with the installation. I have tried running the Check Database with both the temporary upgrade checked and not checked.
Is there anything different I need to do as a pre-requesite, to upgrade the install to SuperOffice 9?
Many thanks,
Trevor
