Using “login_secret” or “preview_secret” in Web panels
Hi,
We have upgraded an onsite installation of SuperOffice to version 10 from 7.5 and have two Web panels that make use of the “login_secret” and “preview_secret” variables in the URL , but this seems not to work anymore . Is there a workaround or is this simply not posible anymore ?
Regards,
Mehmet

Hi Mehmet,
Is login_secret and preview_secret a service thing, or are you refering to the usec template variable? The usec template variable should still work, I haven't been informed of any changes with that.
OK, since 8.1 SuperOffice Sales and Service have a unified login, via shared cookie, so you do not need to reauthentication - to do so is actually a security risk.
This is an effect of the zipper project of sales and service, and results in one login for both apps, which are not hosted under one domain.
See Upgrading to 8.1 and setup a reverse proxy in docs.
Hope this helps!
In 10 there should be a requests archive default available on company, contact our support to get this sorted out, I suspect this has to do with the licenses.
Hi Mehmet,
Yes, I read that earlier in the thread, but it does not answer which type of userplans your onprem customer have. I assume you mean the default archive for requests is not showing either, so then the userplans/serialnumber would be useful to dig deeper into why
The user is already authenticated and adding login_secret does not change anything
