soundEx on company and project

HI,

I'm trying to find the formular to generate the soundEx-value of a company- or project-name. Looking in Wikipedia it says that the result of the standard-soundEx is different from the soundEx-values I can find in SuperOffice.

Is there any documentation how SuperOffice creates the soundEx value when creating an new contact or project?
