Appointment document how to find category?

Hello again, I am hoping you can help me with this as well.

I am trying to visualize appointments in Qlik, but I am having some trouble because in the database appointment descriptions can either be found in the text table or in the document table, and the appointment type can either be found in the task table or in the doctmpl table. So when I want to visualize this I have to find the appointment description either in the text table or in the document table (depending on the type of appointment). However I cannot find a way to find the type of appointment if this is a document, because I cannot find a way to link the doctmpl table with either the appointment table or the document table. Is there some way to do this?

Thank you in advance.

RE: Appointment document how to find category?

The appointment table has a column called "document_id". If it's greater than 0 you are dealing with a document.

Yes, thank you, I have already seen this. The problem is that there are different types of documents, and I want to know the type of document as well, because this is something we can find in SuperOffice Online.

RE: Appointment document how to find category?

Category? Are you perhaps looking for the heading it's grouped under?

In appointmenttable there's a task_idx: https://community.superoffice.com/documentation/SDK/SO.Database/html/Tables-appointment.htm

If document_id>0 then task_idx = doctmpl.doctmpl_id

so then you would be after the headling_id from doctmplheadinglink where doctmpl_id=appointment.task_idx
