Is it possible to set E-marketing permissions on a Person in SO Online from outside SuperOffice?

Hi Community.

Short question: Is it possible to set E-marketing permissions on a person from Outside SuperOffice? Maybe with Rest of something else?

Some of our 3rd party developers can't do it, so I was wondering wheter or not it was possible at all?

RE: Is it possible to set E-marketing permissions on a Person in SO Online from outside SuperOffice?

HI Kasper,

All Sales web client settings leverage the API in order to perform some routine, so whatever you see in the Sales web client is doable via the API. Are you referring to consent when you say permissions, or do you mean a settings unique in Service?

Hi Tony.

I'm talking about the subscriptions you can set under a person (person/interests/e-marketing).

Ok, then yes. You can use the REST API to set the EMARKETING purpose as seen here, or the WCF Agent API as seen here

Whether the control is toggled or not depends on if the EMARKETING purpose is set, the legalbasis is not WITHDRAWN, and that the legalbaseId is greater then 0.

Hope this helps!

Hi Tony.

Is it only for the Rest Api, or is it possible for the Soap as well? Maybe the developer is using the latter.

But Ill take this answer to the developer (InfoBridge), anyway, and maybe push them to use tthis functionality. :)
