Is there a character-restriction on the SMS Sender field?

Hi forum.

When configuring the SMS part of Service, the Sender part appears to be limited to 11 characters.

Is this restriction from Service, or is it from the SMS provider (in this case Compaya)?

Customer is Online.

This is a restriction on the SMS protocol itself. Only up to 11 alphanumerics characters are allowed in the sender part.
