RE: Categori in CS from SuperOffice

Hi,

You can add the following to the "Loading script (after setfromCGI)" in your Screen Properties for the Edit Ticket screen you are using.

Map colMap;

colMap.insert("displayField", "person.contact_id.category_idx");
colMap.insert("searchField","person.contact_id.category_idx");
colMap.insert("operator", "OperatorContains");
colMap.insert("label", "Category");
getHtmlElement("recipients").setFieldValue("addColumn", colMap);

Hi Trond,

Of course the solution posted by Hans is perfect!

Personally, I always teach all the users to consult the company / contact cardbefore registering a new request.

This gives you the advantage of viewing the customer's request history and all the details you want (including SAINT possibilities).

Then, from the menu, choose new quick request.

Might not be what you were looking for, but just to give you a tip:)

regards,

Niels

Hi Trond!

Could you send me a screenshot of what you got?

It could just be that copy/pasting from this forum included some hidden characters. Try copying it into Notepad first and then over to the editor.

There's a hidden character in the example - if you copy it to e.g Notepad++ you wil see it looks like:

colM-ap.insert("operator", "OperatorContains");

I deleted the line and typed it in manually and it is ok now.

Thanks for the help

RE: Categori in CS from SuperOffice

Hi,

After upgrading to SuperOffice 8.1 this dosent seem to work any more. I see there is a new way to register the contact/contactperson now. It would be nice to see the category fro SO on the company when you register a contact.
