How do I change default sort order for ticketlist in customer portal

eJournal 4.9.9

I want the ticketlist in customer portal to be sorted by ticket status by default.

Is it possible to that?

I searched in ListTickets.html but cannot find the default sort order.

Well, you can always just add this to the URL in framework.html:

&orderBy=id%20asc (for ascending)

&orderBy=id%20desc (for descending)

You can also change whatever field you want to sort by.

 

If you want to change your listTickets.html file, you can do this by setting this near the top:

%IF:orderBy=""%
%SET:orderBy="id asc"%
%ENDIF%

The same counts here, you can set the field and asc/desc depending on your intention.

Often, I create my own listTickets.html file (e.g. listTicketsNew.html) as I usually want additional filtering, sorting, and searching - as well as a faster load by using SearchEngine's.

Double sort order for ticketlist in customer portal

Hi,

 

Is there also a possibility for a double sort-order?

e.g., first on status (desc) and then on ID (desc)?
