Screen design changes in CS 8.1

Hi all,

I have been asked to add in CS version 8.1 the mobile phone number as a search field in the Contacts box in the new ticket screen layout (and ideally display it in the returned results).

In the old screen layout, I would add this to the code.  But this does not work in the new layout.

colMap.insert("displayField", "person.mobile/formattedNumber");
colMap.insert("searchField","person.mobile/formattedNumber");
colMap.insert("operator", "OperatorContains");
colMap.insert("label", "Mobile");
recipients.setFieldValue("addColumn", colMap);

Interestingly enough, the mobile phone number is included in the To search at the top of the ticket.

It is possible to add this field to the search in the new layout.

Hey Trevor,

Well the control is called customers and not recipients.

And you're using the 80 system screen and not the regular/old one, right?

To clear it up:

The top one for adding contacts is called recipients (who will get the mail)

The bottom one for adding contacts is called customers (who the ticket is connected to)

Hi Hans,

Yes, I am using the 80 system screen.  Is there any way of searching for the mobile number (and ideally displaying) in the Customers control on the ticket.

In the previous layout, there was a whole tab dedicated to contacts connected to the ticket, and it was fairly easy to add the mobile number.
