Saved incoming emails in SuperOffice, format is changed after saving

Hi!

Customer running web client version 8.2 (C-2017.12.07-03) /maillink version 8.3.6745.1443/Citrix

If they save an incoming email from an INTERNAL person, the content of the email is changed. 

Looks like this after the email is saved in SuperOffice;

If they save an email coming from external persons, email is saved as normal/expected. 

Anyone seen this? Any tips?

We think this problem startet after they upgraded to the maillink version they are running now. 

Same customer experienced that 2 email sent from the same person to person X (same person), with 30 minutes delay are different. The first is OK and readable, number 2 is cryptic like the one above. (This time to an external person)

I believe you are describing bug with ID 59924.

Temporary workarounds are described in bug description and a comment.

How do I see if they use one of these? "The issue happens inf you choose X400 Monkey, Redemption modified two-phase or Atomic Hybrid X400-beetle methods."

Cached exchange is not an option for my customer.

Also tried to copy the email from the customer to my machine, but it is still showing wrong text.

Was this bug in the MailLink version which was pulled a few weeks ago? Can't reproduce it with the current version.

Hi,

Support has most knowledge on how to prevent this from happening in on the lastes version of OML running Outlook without Cached Exchange Mode.

I'm affraid it looks like the allready corrupted emails (MSG files) are gone. The problem occurs when the file archived and not when opening them. The only way is to archive them again (from the inbox or deleted items) once OML is configured to avoid this situation.

We do not have the possibility to “patch” these files due to the fact that the file format MSG is closed/undocumented. The save as MSG code is not something we have control of.

We are working hard to get control of this, but again; I'm afraid we are unable to pach the MSG file already "corrupted"

I cannot see that there is a newer version of mailink than 8.3.6745.1443 (tried onsite our installation, customer installation and online).

Hope this has high priority as we have no workaround as far as I can see?
