Show a custom screen from service in S&M with "unauthenticated"

Hi,

I'm working in SO8.0 SR4 and have created a custom screen which shows some data from a custom service-table. To show it in S&M I used the way, Frode explained it in a post from 2014 (https://community.superoffice.com/de/technical/forum/rooms/topic/superoffice-product-group/customer-service/add-webpanel-to-website/).

I modified the url from Frodes example to the following:

http://support.sales-demo.de/scripts/blogic.exe?_sf=0&action=doScreenDefinition&id=78&_hideFramework=1&entryId=<cuid>&unauthenticated=infopro
(where "infopro" is the authentication key defined in my screen)

and added it to a S&M "GUI - webpanel" to be shown in the "company screen section tab".

The problem now is that it only works when I'm logged in to the Service module.

When I start S&M without being logged in in Service I get the login page displayed instead of my screen although the logged-in user has a complete user plan.

Has there anything changed in Service from 7.5 to 8.0 regarding the "unauthenticated" functionality?

Hi,

I haven't seen the use of &unauthenticated=infopro before, although I'm sure I may have missed something, but today - when looking at Service data from Sales, we use these parameters:

In versjons before 8.0 SR3: &login_secret=<usec>

From 8.0 SR3 and up: &preview_secret=<usec>

 

Try them out and see if they work :)

Hi Simen,

thanks for the fast reply, but unfortunately "&preview_secret=<usec>" doesn't solve it.

It works when I try a url with "&action=listTableEntries" but using "&action=doScreenDefinition" always forces a login.

Are there ans other ideas?

Is this in Online? Because that's currently broken. Check the work-around from Sverre here:

Hi Simen, hi Matthijs,

thanks for your input. I'm working not in Online and after some investigation I found the solution. I think it was the fact, that I built my URL with

... &action=doScreenDefinition&id=<XX>

instead of

... &action=doScreenDefinition&idString=<myString>

With the last URL it works like a charm.
