Bijgewerkt op 21 mrt 2022How do we set up a spell checker that would be correcting the language of our replies in SuperOffice Service?
There are two ways how you can use a spell check feature in SuperOffice Service:
- Use a browser spell check feature or third-party plugins
- Use out of the box Service functionality for a spell check (only in SuperOffice Onsite version 8)
Use a browser spell check feature or third-party plugins
SuperOffice CRM does not have an integrated spell-check option. However, there are multiple ways how you can correct your texts by using integrated internet browser spell check or third-party plugins.
For example, the Google Chrome browser has an integrated spell-check function that works with SuperOffice. Please follow the steps below to enable it:
- Click on
and open the Settings section.
- Click on the Languages (1) section and enable (2) the Spell check. You can choose to use Basic or enhanced (3) spell check.
- Now you can simply press the CTRL button on your keyboard and right-click on the misspelled word with the mouse. Then you will get the browser dialog with the correct spelling suggestions.
Note!
- The setting in the Registry table reg_id=269 line must be set to 1 for the browser spell-check to be able to work.
- SuperOffice is not responsible for any damage arising from or related to the use of internet browsers or third party plugins.
Use out of the box Service functionality for a spell check (only in SuperOffice Onsite version 8)
- For the text editing, SuperOffice CRM is using a module CKEditor. It has limited spell check functionality. When you right-click on the word with the mistakes, you get a function menu.
- To get a dialog for the spell check you need to press on the ABC button at the bottom of the editor menu and select your language.
- Then you get a dialog where you can change words with mistakes and include new words in your dictionary.
