Imagine how many minutes of effective calling time Chris Gardner could gain if he didn’t have to dial ten numbers each time. We aren’t even counting all the times he dialed the wrong number.
Chris Gardner was working off a paper sheet when he was following up on his prospects. You, on the other hand, have SuperOffice at your disposal. This means you can start using the click-to-call functionality today! You can start working more efficient, reach more people, and never dial the wrong number again.
Click-to-call more contacts
It doesn’t matter whether you are calling a long list of prospects, or if you just need to call one specific contact person. With the click-to-call functionality, you are able to call your contacts with a single click of your mouse instead of having to dial the entire phone number. Imagine how much time you will save.
Every SuperOffice CRM user has access to the click-to-call functionality. And the nice thing is that you don’t have to install any software.
How to get started
All you have to do is to find the contact you want to call and click the phone number to call your contact. You can click to call your customer from the columns mobile phone and direct phone on the Contacts card, or open his or her personal contact card and click the phone call icon.
Your computer will ask you permission to launch your preferred IP phone applications. This can be Cisco, Skype, Jabber or any other program you wish to use. You can now check the option to remember your choice. Next thing you know, you have your contact on the phone.
Of course, you have to install Cisco, Skype, Jabber or any other program you wish to use, to be able to use it from inside SuperOffice.
Click-to-call for Service users
Having the click-to-call feature is useful when you are following up on questions and complaints from customers. It will save you a lot of time compared to manually dialing all the number. Imagine how many more calls and customers you can help.
Click-to-call for Service is available for all users that use a locally installed version of SuperOffice.
All you have to do is to set up the phone-link format. Go to Preferences, Default values and find the field Phone-link format. Here you can add the parameter for the program you wish to use to call your customers directly from Service.
For example, if you wish to use:
Cisco, use: ciscotel:%p
IP Phone, use: tel:%p
Skype, use: callto:%p
Facetime, use: facetime%p
