  • Some companies sell products that are assemblies.  In context assembly means that you have a main component, (always), and, that you on top of that, have several optional parts (some that are mutually exclusive - but set that aside for the moment). when entering products in the quote calculator itself, these parts have a price, and the combined assembly will then have a total price. However, the quote document should ideally have the main component as item one, ideally with a larger font, and the parts should be listed below in a separate section, possibly with a smaller font/colour, or some other type of visual to separate the parts from the main assembly,  and the price should be a total (turn key) price. Is the only way to do this, only possible using conditional formatting in word in the template itself, ie IF product type = MainComponent, then: etc or is there something in SO that can be used.  Are there some examples that anyone can share.?

  • Hi Michel. That would be awesome! I understand that this a temporary solution until capabilties of the new custom objects have improved, but it will help us a lot in the mean time. As soon as the before/after save triggers are available we will start using these in combination with the new SCIL element where possible. If this could be included for 10.3.9 that would be great, since that will also be the next OnSite release, which means we can also use this 'hybrid' approach at these customers. Let me know if we can help with testing this or anything.

  • Thanks for the question, Mats. - it can be a bit trickey to see the AI option in SOFO at first :) The feature is in under "new company" - you see it when you click "create new company" - hidden away at the bottom: Once you are in the "add new company" dialog - AI tries to identify the correct values for the fields - based upon info in the email you archive:

  • Hello, Does somebody know if it's possible to create an attendance schedule in de the service module? For example: We have only part-timers, so every week on the same day we need to manually change the status from "normal" to "away". And often they forget it, so the requests are also distributed to employees whom aren't available. The goal is to let the system automatically set the availability of the users per their working days.

  • Hi Fabrice, Generally speaking, if a script is taking too long to complete then it's probably because the script is trying to do much more than what the CRMScript engine was designed for. CRMScript best practices | SuperOffice Docs There is too little information in the OP to better understand what task(s) the script is written to complete, but unless there is something wrong - like highly unoptimized code, then this is generally an indicator that the intended work would be best written as a custom application that leverages webhooks, etc. Best regards.

  • show in find will explicitly show the table on the Find menu, along the standard entities, like companies, persons +++ If you remove show in find you're still able to find the table on 'settings\custom objects' if you hide it will also not be listed on 'settings\custom objects' hope that helps ;)
