Hi everyone,

Conditional fields are now avaialble in your enviorment ready for testing. We are wondering if the new feature is intuitive to use and wether it covers all the use cases you have related to conditional fields. Thank you testing!

Quick guide: Conditional fields in Forms

Conditional fields let you show follow-up questions only when they’re relevant.

This helps you create shorter, smarter forms with a better flow.

What you can do

  • Show extra questions based on answers
  • Create simple “if this → then show that” logic
  • Build a clear structure of related questions

How to use it

1. Add a “controlling” field

Start with a field that will decide what happens next

(e.g. a dropdown or rating field).

The image displays an interface with a drop-down menu for selecting the number of employees, ranging from 1-10, 11-50, to 51-250, with an 'x' option to add more related fields.

KI-generert innhold kan være feil.

2. Add a related field

The image displays an interface with a drop-down menu for selecting the number of employees, ranging from 1-10, 11-50, to 51-250, with an 'x' option to add more related fields.

KI-generert innhold kan være feil.

Click “Add related field” on an option or value

A new field will be created right below

It will automatically get a condition

11-50

KI-generert innhold kan være feil.

Example:

If user selects “11-50” employees, show a field asking “Do you have a dedicated HR department?”

3. A related field can also have its own related fields.

Question → Follow-up → Deeper follow-up

Hi Trude,

The conditional fields addition to the SuperOffice forms it just brilliant.  We have been working on the scoping of a new SuperOffice marketing site this week, and they wanted us to recreate their contact us form from their website.  Their form has a number of different options available depending on what is selected in the previous field.  With the new SuperOffice Conditional Fields we were able to re-create their form, as a proof of concept, in our own system.

Really looking forward to seeing this on general release, absolutely fantastic 😀.

Thank you for verifying with a proof of concept Trevor, we appreciate it! Please let us know if you run into any issues or questions while testing :)

Are there plans to create similar logic on company records / screen designer?

i.e. if a sale source is selected as "Event", a UDEF dropdown appears of these - as projects don't really get used our side, conditional fields on CRM objects would also be cool :)
