New feature: SuperOffice Inbox

SuperOffice Inbox is a feature that lets you read, write and store all your important emails without leaving SuperOffice.

Faster and more responsive

The SuperOffice Inbox has been totally rewritten to improve the user experience. It is much faster and more responsive than before, and new smart features have been added. It will take but a second to log in and see all the emails in your inbox.

New look and feel

We have re-designed the SuperOffice Inbox to make it act and feel like the modern email client you are used to working with, making it comfortable and easy to use.

We have added new colors, made important actions more prominent, and moved less used features out of sight. You will experience a neater interface and clearer choices, which makes it easier to navigate through your emails while you read and respond to them.

Easy to set up

It a lot easier to connect your email service to the Inbox than it used to be. As long as your email service supports IMAP protocols, you can integrate it with SuperOffice using the Inbox. All you have to do is add your email address and your password and SuperOffice will take care of the rest. Once you have logged in the first time, you will always get immediate access to your emails.

It is only when you use Gmail or a two-key-authentication you might have to change some settings before connecting SuperOffice to your email account.

The new toolbar

Everyday tasks should be as simple as possible. That’s why we have given you easy access to key functions. The new toolbar helps you create new emails, delete old emails, and allows you to search for specific emails faster.

Folders and various sort options

You can now easily switch between the different email folders you have, but without these folders taking up unnecessary space on your screen.

You can also sort your emails by date, sender, or subject. Making it easy to find specific emails you want to reply to or save inside your SuperOffice database.

More filter options

We have added more filter options to the SuperOffice Inbox. By using these filters you will see only the emails that matter most to you.

You can use the default filters to hide emails sent by certain contacts, associates, and unknown senders. Or you can choose to only show unread emails or emails you received in the last 30 days. Of course, you can use multiple filters at the same time.

Managing multiple emails simultaneously

Sometimes you have to deal with multiple emails at the same time. If you want to delete all the spam emails you have received for example.

In the new Inbox you can now select them by clicking all emails while holding Shift. SuperOffice will then show you the options you have to manage these emails. You can:

  • Delete them
  • Mark them as unread
  • Mark them as read
  • Move them to a folder

Preview contacts before you add them as a mail recipient

The fact that you can search through your whole CRM database to find contacts you want to send an email to is not new. What is new, is the ability to see a preview of the contact before you select it as a recipient for your email. This way you always make sure you have the right contact and the right email address, before sending out your email.

Adding FAQ’s and reply templates to your email

We’ve got great news for those who have SuperOffice Service as part of your solution. You, and indeed all your colleagues, can now use the same FAQ’s and reply templates from your Service module inside the new Inbox. Whenever you are writing a new email you can browse your FAQ and reply template database and choose the one you wish to use.

Using a FAQ or a reply template means that you can provide good answers to questions very fast and with little effort. And the time you save can be used for other important tasks.

Adding a Quick Reply template to your email

If you like the idea of quick reply templates, but you don’t have SuperOffice Service as part of your solution, then don’t worry. We have added a smart new feature we call Quick Replies.

It is what the name implies the opportunity for you to create and use your own reply templates from inside the new Inbox. Whenever you want to send a quick message or a reply to a question you have given before, simply select your pre-written quick reply template and send. This new feature will save you time and help you be friendly, professional and efficient at the same time.

Configuring and setting it up

The new SuperOffice Inbox with all its new features certainly makes us smile!

It is available for all users of SuperOffice CRM Online who wants to test it as of now. It will also be available for those of you who want to test SuperOffice 8.1 installed and it will be generally available for everyone later this fall.
