How can I restore companies, contacts, or requests deleted from SuperOffice?
Updated on 25 Jul 2025I deleted some companies, contacts, or requests from SuperOffice CRM. How do I restore the deleted records?
If companies, contacts, or requests have been deleted less than 14 days ago, you can restore them from the Recycle bin.
To restore deleted records, please follow the steps below:
- Click on
then select Recycle bin from the drop-down menu.

- Select the records that you want to restore from the list (1) and click Restore (2). In the same way, you can restore deleted contacts - just click on the Contact tab. To restore deleted requests, click on the Requests tab.
Note! The option to View deleted companies/contacts for all users (3) will be visible, only if you have the functional right of a General administrator.
- Click OK (4), to close the screen.

Important!
- If you have deleted a company, all the connected contacts will also be deleted.
- If you then restore the company again, all the contacts will also be restored.
- If you only restore one of the contacts on the deleted company, the company + only the selected contact will be restored, not all of the contacts.
- If you delete a contact without any company linked, then only the contact will be restored.
- To restore deleted requests, you must have the functional right Edit all requests. To delete requests, your role must include Service administration or General Administrator.
Note!
1. All deleted records will disappears from Recycle bin in 14 days or another number of days that has been defined in Settings and Maintenance Preferences (1), Global preferences (2), Retain deleted data (3).

2. If you need to restore companies, contacts, requests, or other types of data after they are permanently deleted, we recommend contacting a SuperOffice consultant. Please note that this is a paid service, and the cost depends on the type and amount of data to be restored. If you use a SuperOffice Onsite solution, data can only be restored if you can provide a database backup containing the deleted data. If you use SuperOffice Online, please contact SuperOffice support to request a database backup.
