How do I change what type of mailings my contacts receive from my company?

SuperOffice CRM keeps track of the different types of communications your customer has said yes to receive from you in the Interests tab under the E-marketing setting.

The E-marketing preferences can be managed by your CRM contact on Mailing via the Subscription management link. Asking for their mailing preferences allows you to send more relevant and expected communications to your target audiences. By default, SuperOffice only allows your contacts to set their subscription preferences via this link.

But these communication preferences can also be changed by SuperOffice users which has the "Can override consent in mailings" functional right.

This functional right allows not only to change Preferences but also to override the consent check when sending mailings.

Note! If you let your users have the right to Change Subscription preferences manually, you risk not knowing if these preferences are true or not. If your local marketing laws require you to seek permission to send mailings in the first place, you also risk violating the local regulations. Therefore, SuperOffice does not recommend granting the "Can override consent in mailings" functional right for non-Administrator users.
