What to do when I do not see a browser notification for a video meeting in SuperOffice CRM?
Updated on 28 Mar 2022I have created a new appointment in my SuperOffice Diary that is a video meeting. Usually before the meeting started, I used to get a browser notification that reminded me about the video meeting and allowed me to join the video meeting directly from the notification popup. I do not see the pop-up anymore, why does it happen and how do I fix it?
There are a few things that you need to double-check, if you cannot see video meeting notifications:
- Your meeting setup in SuperOffice CRM
- Your internet browser settings
- Your Windows notification settings
Your meeting (Appointment) setup in SuperOffice CRM
The notification about an upcoming meeting will pop up only if the Alarm option has been activated in your appointment in SuperOffice diary. To confirm that open the appointment, click on Details (1) and make sure that Alarm (2) option is enabled, and time is set up correctly. Please see this FAQ for more information.

Your internet browser settings
To be able to see them you should make sure that your browser is not blocking Notifications and Pop-ups from your site. Let’s take a look at how to check pop-up settings in a Google Chrome browser.
- Open Chrome Settings.

- Scroll through the Settings list until you get to the Privacy and security (1) section and click on Site settings and then in the Content section click on Pop-ups and redirects (2).
- Click on the SuperOffice site URL and then make sure that Pop-ups and redirects are Allowed.

Your Windows notification settings
Windows Notifications & actions settings must be enabled on the computer for notifications to work. Please follow the steps below to see where these settings are stored in a Windows 10 system:
- In global search field type in Notifications and actions (1) and click on the System settings (2) option.

- Ensure that Get notifications from apps and other senders is enabled (1), then grant more rights for notifications if you prefer in the section below (2). Also, make sure that the browser which you usually use to work with SuperOffice CRM has notifications enabled (3).

Note! Make sure that Focus assist mode is not on. It will also prevent you from receiving video meetings notifications. This article explains how to disable it or you can include chrome in priority application list, this article explains how to do it.
