What to do when my documents and e-mails get opened on my colleagues, instead of my own, computer and how to fix it?
Updated on 16 Jul 2025Even though I have SuperOffice WebTools configured on my computer, whenever I double-click on the document in SuperOffice CRM it gets opened on my colleague’s computer. Why does it happen and how do I fix it?
The situation when documents from SuperOffice CRM are being opened on another person’s computer can occur when SuperOffice WebTools are configured with the same user’s credentials on two computers.
SuperOffice WebTools can be configured only on one computer at a time. Therefore, the solution to this situation is to remove WebTools configuration from the computer where documents should not be opening.
To do it, please follow the steps below:
- In the computer where documents are being opened, click on the Windows Tray and find a SuperOffice application. Right-click on the SuperOffice WebTools and click on Preferences.

- In the SuperOffice WebTools – Preferences dialog you should see either two sites or that WebTools are configured with two different SuperOffice credentials. Select the configuration, which should not be there and click on the Delete button.

This should prevent documents from being opened on another person’s computer and will be now opened on the computer where they are supposed to open.
