What to do when SuperOffice always opens on the same page after login?

This is caused by the URL/website link you use to log in-to SuperOffice CRM. You probably use a bookmark in your browser or a shortcut on the desktop to log in to SuperOffice CRM. If the URL in that bookmark or shortcut points to a certain record in SuperOffice, you will always open it on that page. 

The only way to avoid this is to change the URL in the bookmark or the shortcut to the URL: https://online.superoffice.com/custXXXXX. If you use SuperOffice CRM Onsite, the base URL will most likely look like this: crm.yourcompany.com/SuperOffice.

You can also always log in via the SuperOffice Web Tools, without having to fill in your credentials, by double-clicking on the owl icon on the right-hand side in your Windows taskbar.

I am using a bookmark in a browser to log in to SuperOffice CRM

1. We are using Google Chrome in this example.

Open the settings of the browser (1), go to Bookmarks (2), right-click the bookmark you use to log in to SuperOffice CRM (3), and click Edit (4). 

2. In the URL field, you will likely see a long URL. Replace this with the base URL mentioned earlier in this FAQ. For SuperOffice CRM Online customers, use: https://online.superoffice.com/custXXXXX. Replace the XXXXX with your SuperOffice customer ID. You can find this ID in the URL when you are logged in to SuperOffice CRM.

3. Save the change. Now you can use this bookmark to login to SuperOffice CRM without it automatically opening the page you had specified in the URL. 

 

I am using a shortcut on the desktop to log in to SuperOffice CRM

1. Right-click the shortcut and choose Properties.

2. In the URL field, you will likely see a long URL. Replace this with the base URL mentioned earlier in this FAQ. For SuperOffice CRM Online customers, use: https://online.superoffice.com/custXXXXX. Replace the XXXXX with your SuperOffice customer ID. You can find this ID in the URL when you are logged in to SuperOffice CRM.

3. Save the change. Now you can use this shortcut to log in to SuperOffice CRM without it automatically opening the page you had specified in the URL.
