Why can’t I delete or mark a sent mailing as completed in SuperOffice?

I want to mark a mailing as completed or delete it from the Activities tab, but I don’t see any option to do so. Why is that?

When a mailing is sent and reaches the status Finished, it cannot be deleted. This is by design in SuperOffice CRM, as sent mailings are stored as historical communication records and are not meant to be removed after they have been delivered to contacts. Only mailings that are still under construction can be deleted. See below for comparison.

 

Although mailings are shown together with other activity types in the Activities tab, they behave differently. Documents, chats, form submissions, and follow-ups can be marked as completed because they represent activities that may require user action. Mailings, however, are communication records that are finalized automatically after sending.
