Can't create dashboards based on fields from custom table

When creating a dashboard, I can use fields from a custom table as criteria:

But I can't use the field on the layout tab:

Features available in version 2 (ETA June):

  1. Search/Selection/Dashboard on Custom Object without a relation to a standard entity.
  2. Preview details of a Custom Object in Side Panel and on Hover.

 

I assume that your request will be part of this next version - but perhaps someone from R&D can elaborate and/or confirm :)

"Search/Selection/Dashboard on Custom Object without a relation to a standard entity." would imply that it is possible for custom objects with a relation to the standard entity now 😉
