What Is Custom Objects?

What Is Custom Objects? Introducing Custom Objects to replace Extra fields and Extra tables in Service. This is the first part of a series of new features for Custom Objects. This is what we introduce in the first version: Auto generated archive tabs   When adding a relational field to standard entity or Custom object and enabling “Show one to many relations” this result in archive being automatically added to related standard entity (Company, Contact, Sale, Project, Ticket).   Implementation uses configurable screens framework to add tabs in UI.   SuperOffice Selections SuperOffice Selections is the key component to get insight to your CRM data and initiate actions against contacts. While users currently can create selections/find data based on Extra fields and Extra tables directly connected to known SuperOffice entities, we now extend search capabilities to search against Extra tables with fields pointing to known  SuperOffice entities. Users will therefor not be  limited to using SuperOffice Service for creating selections/searching for data any longer. If any  visible Extra table contains field pointing to entity( Company, Contact, Sale, Project, Request, Activity) we include it as a “top”  node to select from in selections. Extending search capabilities on relational fields Allow for searching across multiple columns. More user friendly: now we include a preview to give user more insight into each entity in results and make it easier to select correct.  Who can join?   Customers who want to sign up need to: ✔️ Use SuperOffice CRM Online   ✔️ Use Service: extra table Please note on Auto generated archive tabs: This is based upon settings set for your extra table. You may end up with more tabs than you expect when pilot feature is enabled. You can adjust the settings set for your extra tables or in the configurable screens framework if you have Development Tools license. Sign up for pilot programs >>   Effect of enabling the pilot feature: 👥= All users will join Pilot Once you have opted-in - all user logging in to this tenant will automatically get the pilot-versions we make available. New archives / Tabs have automatically been added to related standard entity (Company, Contact, Sale, Project, Ticket).  SuperOffice Selections search capabilities to search against Extra tables New preview of Extra table entities.   Getting Started with Custom Objects: Now users will see archives have automatically been added to related standard entity (Company, Contact, Sale, Project, Ticket).   They now have search capabilities to search against Extra tables with fields pointing to known SuperOffice entities in SuperOffice Selections They will also see there is a preview to give user more insight into each entity in results for these Extra table entities.   What's in it for you? Custom prompts as a list?

Hi. Could it be an idea to have a list that enables custom prompts in SuperOffice Copilot. Sometimes the limitation is not that the AI does not have the information, but the prompt is not relevant or the users doesnt really know what to ask for. So the customer could generate a list that is relevant for what is their typical prompts. Or a standard dropdown like Find with suggestions and custom prompts in addition.

Invite everyone in a selection

Hi, I am trying to invite 200 people to a video meeting. It would be great if I could use selections for this to populate the invitations. Just like you have project members.

Unable to see participants at lower part of the description field.

It seems that when you have an appointment that is synced from Outlook into SuperOffice with Synchronizer, you cant see the participants in the meeting at the lower part of the agenda. This is a Teams invite from a customer and you are unable to see the full text. When you scroll the agenda it does not show But if you resize the window or try fullscreen it will sometimes show correctly.

Question about feature toggles

Hi, If I am going to activate NewServiceRequest and customer does not use time zones today, eg it is not enabled ( SO 10.3.3 version)  in admin. Should I first activate Timezones before doing feature toggle(s): NewServiceRequest NewTimezoneHandling The feature toggle is not updated for 10.3.3 ? The new appointment dialog , is that available for 10.3.3 as feature toggle? (When will it be standard for OnPrem versions?) For released function I guess the feature toggles should be removed from web.config  For instance in my test environment I hade 10.1.6 and upgraded to 10.3.3 , but still has the SCILHostedArchives in web.config. Should not the installer of certain version remove that if it is a released function ?

Overview in a meeting with many participants

Is there a way to filter participants that have accepted a meeting? There is a green checkbox that show that someone has accepted the invitation. Or a red X if you have declined. But it seems scrolling the list is the only way to see who has accepted or not. As far as I can see the green checkbox or the red X is the only way to see how many have accepted or not. If you have a large internal meeting with 100+ participants, it could be useful to be able to use a filter to sort participants in a meeting.  Even in fullscreen, the number of participants shown is 4-5 people, and scrolling is the only way to see the other participants. Since there is no way to expand the "box"  overview is limited

Hi Ester. Thank you for making changes so it easier to see partipant status by hoovering over the different status of the attendees. The difference is very subtle. I am relatively sure you couldnt hoover over these areas before, showing attendee status. :)

Cannot select and copy text from Agenda-field

When opening a calendar booking (invite from another internal person where I'm not allowed to change the content), it isn't possible to select and copy text from the Agenda text field. This possibility shouldn't be blocked. Tested and found in SO One using Chrome browser. /Marcus

New Line-formatting in Agenda editor field vs viewed in calendar

The text added in the Agenda contentholder, with normal " new lines", but when viewed in the calendar, and extra empty row is shown after each row. I suppose it is related to the HTML-formatting and how new rows are viewed in the editor vs the calendar item view. You want a as compact view as possible in the calendar, so this needs to be overview. I tried to use Enter vs Shift-Enter, but that didn't make any difference for, it seems at least. /Marcus

Duration field missing

The duration field seems to be completely missing from the new appointment screen. This field is used a lot to easily see how long a appointment was, plus determine the end date/time.  We teach/train customers for example to fill in the start date and time in the appropraite field and how long the activity/task took in the duration field. Based on that the end date time is automatically filled in. This functionality is now completely gone.

New pilot version of Webtools for Windows WebTools for Windows 12.0 - will be available tomorrow for those who are in the pilot program: Webtools for Windows We plan to have it running in pilot for a week, and if all works out well we will deploy it in production next week. Major features in this version are : New look - logos, icons, ... Based on .net 5 Various bugfixes and improvements Read our release notes to get the overview of all issues fixed. Distribution: SuperOffice Web will automatically detect new versions of WebTools and offer the user to update. WebTools can also be downloaded manually from the download menu inside SuperOffice. SuperOffice Win users will receive new versions upon upgrading the Windows-client. We will deploy a new pilot version of WebTools for Windows today: WebTools for Windows pilot release 13.0 Fix in this version: Issue on RDS servers: After opening emails, the SOMailProtocolHandler task is getting stuck and Web Tools "Performing Tasks" window is not closing. It stays open until the task is killed in Task Manager. SuperOffice CRM Online will automatically detect new versions of WebTools and offer pilot users to update. WebTools can also be downloaded manually by pliot users from the download menu inside SuperOffice
