How do I download and install WebTools for SuperOffice?

After logging in to SuperOffice CRM for the first time, you may be asked to upgrade or install SuperOffice WebTools. If the wizard does not appear, or if you need to download SuperOffice WebTools again, follow the steps below:

Log into SuperOffice CRM and in the top menu, click on the Personal settings button, then click Download and select SuperOffice WebTools.

The next window can look different depending on your operating system and SuperOffice setup. Please follow the section that matches what you see:

Windows: Work faster with documents window

  1. Click on the Download button to start downloading WebTools.


     
  2. The SuperOffice WebTools installation file will be downloaded to your computer's download folder. Double-click on the file to start the installation wizard.


     
  3. Then click Install to start the installation.


     
  4. You will see a message saying that WebTools is connected to your SuperOffice CRM installation. Click OK to close the message.


     
  5. Click Close to close the installer's wizard.


     
  6. Then click on the Close button to close the WebTools installation wizard.

Windows: Personal computer Home/Office

  1. Choose Personal computer Home/office (1) and click Next (2).


     
  2. You will be asked to select your preferred email client.
     
    • If you want to use the Outlook email client, simply select the Outlook (1) icon and click Next (2).
       
    • If you want to use Gmail, select the second icon and click Next. This FAQ explains how to configure your Gmail account with SuperOffice CRM.
       
    • If you want to use the SuperOffice email client, select the third icon and click Next. This FAQ explains how to configure the SuperOffice Inbox.


       
  3. Click on the Download SuperOffice WebTools button.


     
  4. The SuperOffice WebTools installation file will be downloaded to your computer's download folder. Double-click on the file to start the installation wizard.


     
  5. Then click Install to start the installation.


     
  6. During the installation, SuperOffice will ask you to authenticate yourself to your SuperOffice CRM installation. Click OK to continue.


     
  7. Authentication continues in your browser. When you see the success message, close the browser tab.


     
  8. You will also see a message saying that WebTools is connected to your SuperOffice CRM installation. Click OK to close the message.


     
  9. Click Close to close the installer's wizard.


     
  10. Then click on the Close button to close the WebTools installation wizard.

 

Note!

With the new e-mail connectivity, MailLink is no longer included in the WebTools installer. If you need MailLink, it must be downloaded and installed separately from the SuperOffice Download Service.

Installing SuperOffice WebTools on the Mac operating system

  1. Click on Download WebTools.


     
  2. Then allow downloads on online.superoffice.com:


     
  3. SuperOffice WebTools app file will be downloaded to your computer's download folder. Open the file in DiskImage and drag the app-file into the Application folder on your Mac.


     
  4. SuperOffice will need to authenticate you in the browser, so click Ok.


     
  5. Authentication continues in your browser. When you see the success message, close the browser tab.


     
  6. Then click on the Close button to close the WebTools installation wizard.
