How do I start a remote support session with the SuperOffice Support?

To start a remote support session, you will receive an email from a SuperOffice Support Consultant containing a remote support session link. The link will look similar to this example: https://quicksupport.me/sxxxxxxxxx.

Please choose the instructions for your operating system:

 


For Windows ​

Note! The screenshots shown are from Google Chrome and may look different in other browsers.

  1. You will see a screen with two options. Select Windows to download the application to your computer.


     
  2. Click on the downloaded TeamViewer application to start it.


     
  3. Accept the End User License Agreement and the Data Processing Agreement, then click Continue.


     
  4. It may take a few minutes for the connection to be established. 


     
  5. When prompted, click Allow access to start the session.


     

​For macOS

  1. You will see a screen with two options. Select macOS to download the application to your computer. 


     
  2. If prompted, allow downloads from quicksupport.me to proceed.
     
  3. Navigate to the Downloads folder. Locate the downloaded TeamViewer application and double-click it to start.


     
  4. Accept the End User License Agreement and the Data Processing Agreement, then click Continue.


     
  5. If it's the first time having a TeamViewer session, you will need to grant access to your device. Please refer to this article for more information.
     
  6. It may take a few minutes for the connection to be established. 


     
  7. When prompted, click Allow access to start the session.

 

Troubleshooting

If the remote session does not start:

  1. Make sure the TeamViewer application has been opened as described above.
     
  2. If the session still doesn’t start, check that no other TeamViewer instance is running. For Windows, you can close it via Task Manager:
     
    • Right-click the taskbar and open Task Manager
       
    • Find TeamViewer in the list
       
    • Select it and click End task



      For macOS
    • Right-click (or Control-click) the TeamViewer icon in the Dock.

    • Select Exit TeamViewer


       

Note! If you click the Close button, the remote session will be closed, and you will need to restart the process from the beginning.
