Is it possible to retrieve the value from the field for document editing (local settings for user) by crmscripts or is the value not saved in the database?

Additional information.
I have tried to retrieve this value from the userPreferences table since the other settings values are there but it wasn´t there.

Sadly this value is not stored in userpreference but in a cookie, see cookie 'DocumentHandler':
1 = no webtools or online application (microsoft 365/gsuite)
2 = webtools/online application (microsoft 365/gsuite)
